  • Days at GOAL ZERO. What does this mean?

The Goal Zero clock (or day counter), is a visual representation which acts as a reminder of how many days have passed since the last incident on the Shell Retail account. Each day that passes without incident, shows our success as a team in managing risk, and helps us achieve our goal of zero incidents (Goal Zero).

As an extension of this, each individual is encouraged to create their own Goal Zero clock, by counting each day that passes without personally having any incidents. This does not just have to be in work time, it should also count for time away from work (at home, holiday etc) The Goal Zero clock helps us measure our success in managing safety, and motivates us to always be conscious of our own safety, and the safety of those around us.

In the event of an incident occurring, the Goal Zero clock is then reset to zero.
